C.Y.S.S. Stands for Christian Youth Sailing Society. This society, sponsored by Canyon Community Church (canyoncommunitychurch.com), is dedicated to the Christian discipleship and Bible training of young people between the ages of nine and fifteen, using sailing and maritime skills as the catalyst. Learning to sail, keeping a compass heading, following orders, knot tying, leadership, sportsmanship, navigation, maintenance, Bible knowledge, swimming, water camping, racing, honor, craftsmanship, helping the marine environment, character training, devotion to Jesus, cooking, life saving and tons of fun are all part of the CYSS experience. -Skipper Dave Chamberlain
